"KIDS DAY" May 14,2011
"Kids Day" was at one location this year, the Altimus farm. Many asked why one location. Primarily two of our three locations have complaint issues. The Pa Fish Commission has asked us to limit our event to one location as a result of fisherman complaints and traffic safety. With using Altimus' farm we eliminated these issues and had a two day "Kids Day". Also having one location was easily managable with food preparation, game rules, stream stocking preparation, site preparation and ease in using available helpers. Plus a pile of fish in one big area 740 trout for our young guests. What a great time! Thank you to this year's co-ordinator, Matt Short and all our T.T.C. willing helpers -- LIN
Our new "KIDS DAY" format featured fishing games many times during the day.
Club members made sure all kids caught fish. We had a special fishin hole for any not having good luck.
More than 100 youth to 15 years of age enjoyed two days of fishing, prizes and food.
T.T.C. very much enjoyed this event with food and prizes sponsored by local businesses and Tubmill trout club sponsoring the fish. A complete list will be posted in the near future of our sponsors !
