What the heck are they? 24 of these objects were placed in Tub Mill and Hendricks Run towards the end of October 2014......

Very large pieces of 2" thick, slate like flat material are placed in stream flows leaving space underneath them for hellbender salamanders to call home.

Crayfish are the food of choice for Hellbenders they may find a home under these slabs too.
